Karthikeyan Murali Wins the 2025 Master Tournament (MTO)

Indian GM Karthikeyan Murali triumphed at the 58th edition of the Biel Master Tournament with 8/10 points, clinching victory after a precise final-round win over GM Benjamin Bok. He topped a strong field of 112 players from 27 countries. GM Pranav Anand (IND) and GM Mustafa Yilmaz (TUR) took second and third place on tiebreaks (7.5 points). WFM Alexandra Shvedova was the best woman (25th).
